What is mobile phone unlocking?

Mobile phone unlocking is removing the restriction on your phone so that it can be used on ANY phone network and with ANY network SIM card and not only the network company you bought the phone from.

Do you own a Nokia phone which you need unlocking from your UK or Spanish network provider?

Maybe you have your mobile phone from the UK and would like to put a Spanish sim card in but it is restricted and wont let you make calls. Or maybe you've just changed mobile phone contracts in Spain (maybe to Pay as you Go) and need your mobile unlocked from the old network.

Why not contact us and include your phone type and model number and we will get back to you ASAP.

The phone shops here in Spain do not seem to offer this service, so you don't want to be stuck with a mobile you can't use. Once your phone is unlocked, you are able to put ANY mobile sim card into it, whether from the UK or from Spain, meaning that next time you pop back to the UK you simply take out your Spanish SIM card and insert your UK sim card while your waiting for your luggage to arrive!

Is mobile phone unlocking legal?

YES, mobile phone unlocking is perfectly legal. This should not be confused with mobile phone unblocking (which is NOT legal in most countries). Unblocking (as opposed to unlocking) is where a phone that has been stolen can be modified to accept any PIN code, allowing the thief to use the phone once stolen. To reiterate, mobile phone unlocking ("liberar" in Spanish) is legal as long as you are the righful owner of your mobile phone. If you are still on a contract we advise you to check the terms and conditions of your contract in case your phone operator actually "owns" your phone.

So how do I unlock my phone?

The process of unlocking your phone is as follows:

Send us your model number and email address/phone number
We will then call or email you back to confirm that we are able to unlock your model number
You then pay a small fee (currently 15 Euros) via PayPal on our website (COMING SOON)
Once payment has been received we will give you a special code unique to your phone and instructions on how to use the code to unlock your phone

What operators and phones can you unlock?

UK mobile phone operators we can unlock include Orange, Vodaphone, T-Mobile, O ne 2 One, Virgin, O2, Cellnet and Tesco.

Spanish mobile phone operators we can unlock include Vodaphone, Airtel, Orange/Amena and Movistar.
